If you want to know about what people think of Banzai points you might want to ask whether it is better or worse (or equal to)

FWIW I would pass those two but I would (just) open with three aces.

The only reason i would not open that hand although is if i would playing a style where I pass all 11 bal and some 12 bal,(Like say a 12-15 NT, where you skip on bad 12)

Coming from pass with 3 bullets is probably one of the worse if not the worst.
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"
"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

We scored 3N v a passout where partner opened 1N with the 3 bare aces (actually in second seat), I had ♣KQJ10xx and an ace and put dummy down saying "when I pass 1N partner always has 3 bare aces".
I'm much happier opening the OP's hand 1N than if I have to open 1 of a minor and let opps in at the 1 level with hands that would pass over 1N.
When I heard Gordon's story it was either 9 or 10 solid spades.

In a previous thread, Mr Ace explained how, in seats 1 & 2, passing on such hands, can present partner with unnecessary problems

What ratings would you give if you had to open 1m rather than 1N ?

I open all 12 pt hands I don't care how bad they are. in post and these 2 examples have easy 1N rebid. wouldn't be happy opening last example but would.

No, correct that. Playing EHAA, my weak NT is 10-12. So, is this too strong? I don't think so for 4333, especially when the 4-card suit is the aceless one. 4432, with the 3-card suit aceless? Much more interesting question.
