How come there has been no nomination for any thread which
  • concerns convention regulation;
  • suggests BBO institute a rating system; or
  • discusses whether a "4 point range" is 10-13 or 10-14?

Because there's too many of them to single out one?

I already see a thread that we shouldn't forget the NEXT time we do this.
My addiction to Mario Bros #3 has come back!

Why don't we just have a "Thread Hall of Fame" subforum or something?

It doesn't have to be every decade lol.

I vote for the foo-thread.

It has everything. Dburn poetry, foo stupidity, multiple jlall attempts to explain bridge, foo mathematics, foo stupidity, and even a little humor.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

I'm sure it was the one regarding some overcall of a high level preempt. The world thought it was right, foo thought it was wrong, and in practice it went for a number so he had lots of ammo. I tried but couldn't find it.

This one might be what Josh is talking about (but there is no dburn poetry here)
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

This thread might make the list. It has an all-star cast, everyone doing what they do best.

And it's still in its infancy!

Wow I'm really disappointed in myself, I remembered the thread being much better than that. I respectfully withdraw my suggestion.

just got reminded by the dburn poetry thing about this funny thread

http://forums.bridge...showtopic=22194

but it's too short to be considered I'm afraid...

edit: I thought there was more fighting in this "forward going" thread!! it's a big happy peace party compared to what I remembered :(
