I am also presuming plenty of entries to each hand

a) 2 towards hand, if the ace flies, will cash the Q then hook the 10. If the J is played, will play the Q, which will need to hold, and I'll have to duck the second one and have to drop the ace. If a small one is played, will play the Q and play for the man on my left to have AJx/Jxx by hooking the 10.

Spot on, for a). Low to the queen, then low to the ten.
b) and c) are different however ...
