What do you bid?
Does any difference if you were an unpassed hand?

3. Usually this would be risky (pard may not have 3 clubs), but given my hand he rates to be short in diamonds, so the 3 bid should be safe.

The alternative woud be 1NT, but that might make it hard for pard to drive to 5 on a good 4414.

Hi,

2C, a slight underbid, independ of being a passed hand.

Being a passed hand, makes this a little bit less risky,
because, I expect my partners to shade their requirement
opposite a passed partner.

With kind regards

3 sounds about right. The suit is good enough and the points are right. No worries.

Same bid by an unpassed hand. Just bid what you have!

3. When I jump in a minor, I like to have 5. Passed or unpassed, makes no difference to me.

I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

Would have been interested to see VUL as well as the cards as this can make a difference to the bids

I voted for 2 as it's possible partner is stretching HIS requirements for the X ;)

Would also only bid 2 if NOT a passed hand

IMO 3 means non-blank hand.

2 is a clear underbid and with 5 cards I have no problem to bid my hand, so 3
