In the last two casual games I have played (IMPs scoring) two boards in each do not appear to have been played at other tables. So the score does not move. Unfortunately my history is very out of date so I cannot check if that has changed. It doesn't matter much for a casual game but I am playing 3 matches this week and it would be very annoying (or perhaps lucky!) if comparisons were not available for every board. Can anyone explain this?

Every deal is used at 16 tables - of course someone has to be the first to play a particular deal, and if you're the lucky one then you won't see comparisons. It will update as other tables play it, but if you're really interested in the final scores, you'll need to check back at My Hands later on after it has worked its way through all of the tables.

Matches won't have this issue.
Boards in them are played exactly twice, in a scheduled fashion.

These are known as 'orphan boards' if they become permanent. It has always been a feature but most of the time they will eventually be played.

I know some clubs are playing matches using Relaxed or Main Bridge Club tables (and there are good reasons to do this). I would wait until the following day to check for the finalised results. It would be worth playing an extra couple of boards if you see potential orphan boards, so that a full set of comparisons are available.
