BBO is not permitting new private clubs to be created at this time. At some point, when things are less busy, I expect they will reexamine this area of the platform since it is archaic (in BBO terms).

BBO has working with many national bridge organisations (NBO), including the ACBL, EBU and FFB, on virtual clubs (and I know is working with more). Virtual clubs allow private clubs to run their own tournaments, for specific members, charge a fee and, depending on the NBO, award master points.

If this is the primary reason for wanting a private club, then I recommend speaking to your own national bridge organisation.

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades
