Copy and Paste into Chat

I see others "Copy and Paste" clickable URL's into the Chat window. I used to be able to do that on the old Flash version, but I have not found a way to do it on the new BBO version. I cannot even "Copy and Paste" plain text into the Chat window from Notepad. "Trying to Copy and Paste" plain text or URL's into "Saved Chat Messages" in Chat Manager does not work either.

If this cannot be done, it is an annoying drawback in the new version.

Windows 10 and Firefox.

Paste does not work in the Chat line, but CTRL-V (keep CTRL pressed, then press V, and release both) works.
