I have been looking at former posts concerning changeing a bridge hand from one format to another.
What I would like to know is whether it is possible to scan a bridge hand in a book and then convert it into a PBN format for playing on my computer, I'm not sure it's possible but if so how is it done?
The hands are shown in the usual orientation...W/N/E/S and the page was scanned and saved as a Jpeg. It was then cropped to only show the 4 hands.

What I want to do now is open this hand on my laptop using my Jack software (PBN) and then play the hand as though at the bridge table.
In other words the hand is loaded,Jack opens it and the bidding and play proceed as normal.

I have to say that my computer skills are pretty basic and that needs to be bourne in mind. :)
