Things were OK until the last board 20. At this stage we were about 6 boards ahead and leading 26-23. Unfortunately, I misinterpreted my partner's 3S bid as showing a spade stop and lost the first 6 spade tricks in 3NT.
Our team-mates reached Board 20 losing 30-36 and threw the dice defending 1NTXX. Unfortunately, unlike JEC, they allowed the spade suit to be blocked and only took 4 spade tricks, conceding 1560.
Losing 18 IMPs on the board gave a final score of 30-54.

Good experience. I will apply again some time and encourage others to do the same.
