Sure this tactic is available to all the humans in a robot tournament, but it's a bit unsporting IMO, esp since psyching strong artificial bids is often banned in human tourneys. Interestingly the balance 2H = 4+H 23+ pts maybe on the right track of how these things should be defined, maybe after 2c-p-2d-p-p, the balancing bids should be as if 4th hand had opened 2c . If south rebids suit, 2nd round overcall should be strong.

The most useful thing would be for the robots to simply deal with the psych in a sensible way - evaluate their hand and trust their partner. You know, the same way people deal with it in real life. There's no need to do something silly like banning them.

Not a priority. And impossibly hard to fix. Anyway I don't actually think it's a major issue since GIB deals with this about as well as 90% of human players on earth would. Try blatantly psyching against the next little old lady you sit against at the club and watch what happens.
