Could this geniality continue?
George Will and Harold Myerson have posted columns marking Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday. This is possibly the first time that they have ever agreed about anything.

I also note that Diane Rehm will be giving up her daily interview schedule next year. She is turning 80 so I guess she has a right, but I am sorry to hear it. It has always been clear that she actually enjoys the company of people whose views differ from hers. She gets the best people she can find and she let's them speak in uninterrupted sentences, even in paragraphs and longer. I imagine that the show will continue, but she is unique.

Anyway, I am feeling cheery this morning. And I do like Sinatra's version of "I've got you under my skin" and "The summer wind", along with others.

Well everyone is unique of course but have you ever watched Christiane Amanpour or even Stephen Sackur doing interviews? You might find their style also matches well to your taste.
