Second in, favourable, teams. Do you open 1C, 2N or other? How strongly do you feel?

Also 2N artificial for me.

In standard systems, it's much more awkward after 1red than 1 where your hand has now suddenly become much bigger.

A good idea, but the forum is "natural bidding discussion". ;)

Ok ok, I know it doesn't mean exactly that. But for a true natural bid, I might choose the practical 1-1-3NT.

IMO 1 = 10, 2N = 7.
Over a 1 reply, you can try 3N (if that shows a long minor). A 2N opener might cause a problem when partner decides 4, even on a 5-2 fit, has better chances than 3N, with, say: Q x x x x x x x x x x K x

I will try2nt opener since I don't play that 2nt rebid toy.

I don't like my rebid options after 1d or 1h or 1s reply.

Hate opening 2NT on this hand.

1) You can easily miss a slam (or game) in clubs.
2) Partner will insist on playing in spades on hands where it is wrong to do so.
3) If you had one less club and one more spade, you are understrength for a 2NT opening. The extra playing strength of the sixth club is not sufficient to make up for the flaws in the 2NT opening. Maybe if you had the 10 I would consider 2NT, but certainly not on this hand.

As for my rebid over 1 - 1, 2NT should be sufficient. You are only one card off from a classic 2NT rebid, and, again, I don't think the sixth club is sufficient to bid 3NT.

I think I will try a 2NT rebid. 3NT is normal with this shape and GF strength but with K and a questionable diamond stopper I am ok with p bidding 4 if he has six of them.

I agree strongly with opening 1 and think an interesting dilemma is what to bid after a 1 response.

Can I fake a 2 reverse in a natural bidding thread?

Yes that is a reasonable choice. 2NT is an alternative, not sure if that is more natural :)
