So when you poll you make sure that you only poll players with the same style (aggressive, careful, gambling or whatever) as the player whose decision you question?
Sorry, I doubt that you normally can muster a sufficient number of players with the relevant style. You have to consider the poll results allowing for differences in style.

Of course - if you can't get precise peers you do the best you can. That doesn't change the principle.
