2 would have been a weak 2.

Easy 5

Off topic; Dave I think I know what type of reading material you've been concentrating on lately, but can you recite the entire contents of Moo Baa Laa Laa Laa and Goodnight Moon backwards and forwards yet? :)

Yeah if you want to miss slam. I don't have good tools from here so I'd be more tempted to punt 6, but could make a try with 4...

I would just bid 5 and try to get a plus score. Since it is mp missing a slam will not be too bad.

I also think pd already predicting our shortness and bidding accordingly. He doesnt have a hand good enough to open weak 2 at these colors. Another reason he didnt open 2 could be that he has a side 4 card major, but i doubt it because then he could use a responsive DBL, unless his side 4 card M is spades, which then means opponents are barking mad.

4H is IMO the only call.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Y, that's better than 4, particularly as its MPs.
