All red, you hold:

Qx
K9xx
KJxxx
Jx

Your in second seat and it goes:

Pa-Pa-Pa-1
Pa-1NT-Pa-2
Pa-???

1NT was semi-forcing.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

4 for me - to me partner showed a better hand than a 4th seat 2 opener.

4S? huh? I have an invite so I invite.

3.

If not for the fact that it was a fourth seat opening 3 would definitely be enough. It depends on your agreements but I don't think partner needs a lot to open 2 in fourth, maybe around 9-11. So he is better than that but still my vakues are a bit soft and nine tricks may be the limit. It's much closer to 4 than pass though.

Hi,

given that the opening bid was in 4th seat, I think 3S is the right bid.

Otherwise I would lean toward Pass.

It depends on my system.
If partner had shown 10-12 with a six card suit, I pass.
My partner had opened that hand with 2 Spade, so he is stronger now and I would invite.
Kind Regards

2NT/3, depending on whether I want to hog the hand or not.

Have I shown a max-pass with 1N?
I'm done if partner is not going up.

Invite 100%, I would do it even MPs. 1NT was semiforcing and partner was not forced to bid again with a balanced minimum so he is *not* balanced minimum and has 6+ spades.
