Congratulations to Elianna for winning the most masterpoints in the Los Angeles Regional. Many of her results came with people who play regularly on BBO (some of whom are also occasional forums posters).
Her results:
Won a bracket two compact knockout with Carol Frank (h2osmom), Roger Lee (rogerclee), and Sean Lui (seanlui).
Won a one-session pairs with Carol Frank (h2osmom).
Carried her mom and partner to first in C in a two-session swiss with partner Carol Frank (h2osmom).
Placed second in a bracket one knockout with me and teammates John Jones (johnjones) and Val Gamio (valerie).
Placed second in a bracket two compact with me and teammates Val Gamio (valerie) and Sean Lui (seanlui).
Placed second in the A/X swiss teams on the last sunday with partner Val Gamio (valerie) and teammates me and David Kempe (un6c).

I actually was playing better at the end than at the beginning. It's wierd, but I tend to play better later in a tournament than at the beginning. I think that it's because I don't play enough, and playing in the beginning of a tournament gets me in practice for later. I was mainly playing a lot in LA in preparation for nationals.
