Attack, attack, attack!

Heart honors are well placed for declarer and trumps are splitting normal. Put the little diamond on the table playing pard for the Q or A.

Not a good hand to go passive on (and with what?).

LOL Mike. Great minds think alike (and at the same time apparently).

Uh - but why the 10-spot?

Me, on the contrary, think this is a fine hand to go passive. I lead a spade.

  • Interests:My personal interests are my family and my friends. I am extremely concerned about the lives and futures of the kids (and their families) that I work with. I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

low diamond
major suit lead doesn't sound right, and low from J-4th never works well for me. (which means it's probably the winner this time).

Low diamond to opener's Qx with Axx in dummy and making plus 2 for a top for them. Any other lead works out, but club was best.

Despite these uhhhh unfortunate? choices, we still managed to qualify for the NAP district finals..... :)
