Fourth seat openings are often tricky, but we have the boss suit and the points.
After the interference, 2♠ is a simple 3 card raise, 3♥ an invitational 3 card raise, double suggests misfit.

I have a 3 card invitational raise. 3♥
My jacks are looking better than usual, the diamonds could be useful and I like my heart holding for partner to get 2 pitches.

However, MP maybe I should pass.

Pass seems clear to me. In tempo. If you find yourself hesitating then partner should strain to be passive, reopening only with a clear call. I expect 800 on defence if partner can double. Might be only 500 but maybe then we don’t have or wouldn’t bid game

I don't want to torture anyone, it can't be made on competent defence after diamond lead. Although about half the room did make 10 tricks.

-100 was a 14% which cost us the podium at local level.

What caught my eye is that at national level, only one table scored 200 and nobody 500 or 800.
I think many East will have risked 2♥ which is already 2 down, so what was lacking is mikeh in South.

If you swapped the TH in North with a small heart in East, is 2HX only one down?

West will certainly raise that horrible 2H overcall. Fortunately I don’t play with people who make that kind of overcall,but I’ve certainly collected quite a few large penalties from people who do.
