I'm sure there is a good reason why one has to double-click or triple-click after a few plays to see other player's profiles, but I can't figure out a reason, at all. What is the reasoning behind it? It's just a time-waster, in my opinion.

A single click works fine for me. (Unless of course you're the host, when you're given options for removing the player vs seeing their profile).

Single click works for me too. Most player's profiles are as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

When a game first starts, I can single-click for a few games (maybe 3-4), then I either have to double-click or triple-click after that. Quite annoying.

But they are also home to the best and most original feature of BBO: one can write comments on the fly.
In practice, you write their profile without them knowing.
Single click has always worked for me, too.
P.S. and if clicking on your username brings up your own profile, you can thank me: they listened to me for once
