6S, i dont really see a problem here. I don't know what my 5H bid meant, I would have just bid 6S then and just given them a guess. Sorry I can't see defending 6H white/red with this hand, its just not possible though it could be right.

6 - what I should have bid last time. Now when I pass 7, It'll sound like I have a better defensive hand - sigh.

Hi,

6S.

I agree with the others, that 5H was rather pointless,
I would have bid 4S, not 6S, because 4S gives me the
chance to go plus, and I may be able to buy the contract
in 5S or even 4S.
Sure I may miss slam sometimes, but then I may buy the
contract sometimes.

Another point: 4S gives you the chance to double 6H,
asking partner. Do you have defence against 6H?
If not bid 6S, else pass.

With kind regards
Marlowe

Ok, congrats to most of you guys, I didn't want to get the sure -100 (its obvious that partner doesn't have an ace), but 6 made doubled when they found K onside.

I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

Just curious:
did the 5 bidder intend this as exclusion BW?

agree 100%
but I have seen some (and made some) very strange bids in the interest of using a toy convention.
