The NABC Robot Individual is a rude place to find a glitch in the robot logic. I know there's often reason to apply a false preference on a doubleton to avoid raising the level of the auction, but voluntarily taking such a preference, and suppressing SEVEN-card support in the bargain seems... a bit much.

I've given your question a considerable amount of thought.
It's a question that comes up quite frequently in Bridge. Usually in the form:
"You made a mistake, you owe me a dollar"
I never make mistakes, so this is never a problem for me, but I can see how you might be upset.
I suggest that you approach a friendly lawyer - Sydney Powell is looking for work I believe.
They can draft a sort of pre-nuptial for your partners to sign.
Perhaps it could include a sliding scale of financial penalties based on tricks or IMP's lost.

GIB's "judgement" isn't as bad as Kipod makes out. How many East-Wests reached slams? If South has better ♠ then 4♠ is the better contract (and much better at MPs). Even with the given South hand, alter opponents' distribution slightly and 4♠ makes but 5♦ is still hopeless

The beauty of robot Bridge is that every player suffers and enjoys the same partner.
The reason that successful partners are successful is not that each one of them is a 'good' player, but because together they understand their understandings better than other pairs.
Robots make errors - so do you. It's the nature of a game where all information is not available.
The good thing about robots is that they make the same moves in the same situation for everyone.

My question is: Why play with robots for $40? I get grumpy parting with $0.39, but when I do badly I know it's because other players understood their partner better than me.
