do I need to BB$ to play casual bbo logs me off when I tap casual

My partner and I can log on to BBO successfully and the people tab show us online. When I press the casual tab we immediately go offline. How do I stay online? Do I have to buy BB$?

Playing at casual tables is totally free, unless you want to play with robots. And if you don't have BB$, it will just say you can't rent robots.

I checked our log and it looks like you played for about an hour this morning.
