There are people who would open 3♣ with this hand if NV versus V (frankly the bid has a lot of appeal), but for most players this is an automatic pass. Either way I would not spring such a 3♣ bid on an unsuspecting partner, this is the sort of barrage that needs prior discussion.

Add another club and it's still a pass.
Add two more clubs and it's STILL probably a pass. A 3♣ opening never seems to win the board.

That's rough, perhaps it is worth discussing what you two hope to achieve with a pre-emptive bid, and if this extremely aggressive approach helps with that or not. At the risk of jumping the gun a bit: often the goal of a very aggressive pre-emptive style (especially when not vulnerable versus vulnerable) borders on the psychological - your hope is that your opponents, who are also aware of the vulnerability, will feel they are being cheated out of a valuable game and overbid to compensate, or at any rate that their system won't be designed around punishing you so the experiment is harm-free.

ahhh clearly action must be taken I see some options, take a long time and hope your opp bids out of turn, ask for a re-deal which has a huge advantage. The one that rejects the fastest has a huge hand, valuable information for your partner also. As there is never any fun when you pass we can open 1NT in the hope partner bids stayman which you pass. I must be the crazy one for responding, I thought everyone was aware of my 3 steps.

In 3rd green vs. red, someone could sell 3C to me, but not in 1st.
With kind regards

I agree P_Marlowe, opening like this sounds quite bad to me. That doesn't make it unfathomable, though.
If you are going to jump like this at all, the second best place to do it (first being green versus red, 3rd seat) would be green vs red, 1st seat. But I still don't approve.
