This hand is from Weekly Free Instant Tournament in this week .

Hand-1 The normal auction should be this :

However if fourth seat opens light, as with many paradoxical definitions, the devil is in the details
Hand-2

Hand-3

Hand-4

After 2 - 2, actually any rebid by responder is not forcing at two level, including 2N by opener.

2H is described as forcing to 3NT, hence any bid below that is forcing. In hand 4, north is not a passed hand, so what's the problem? There have already been a plethora of topics (some of which you started) that have already discussed the forcing to game aspect by a passed hand.

For what it's worth, there is a lot to be said for new minor forcing to be game forcing as an unpassed hand.

NMF has to handle some number of inv hands as well when not playing some sort of 2-way checkback system. I think for the 5-5 hands by both unpassed and passed hands, after 2c-2d, 2H should be NF and 3H be GF.

While GIB may wrongly and illogically play NMF as game force by a passed hand, surely the human player can evaluate their own hand and pass below game if given the chance. I would pass 2 in the auctions above with a bad pile of quacks.

See hand-4
4 says " 6+,6+".
The descriptions of two suits has been a weak area for Gib.
