Roland has just sent me a personal message that he is just tired of organizing all the vugraphs. Tired of staying up for 17 hours, of network problems at the playing sites, of jokes about Roland slams, of all the contracts that Deep Finesse would have played better than the players on stage; and worst of all, he is running out of cokes. He wants to give it up.
Maybe we can persuade him to do it a little longer if we tell him how much we all appreciate the vugraphs? I don't think it would be easy to find someone else doing this monstrous task...
What else can we do?
Arend
P.S.: See here for some related news.

The easiest way to count losers is to line up the people who talk about loser count, and count them. -Kieran Dyke

It's even worse than that. I have also decided to cancel all broadcasts we have planned from next week until the end of August. Vugraph is history as far as I am concerned. This may come as a surprise for you, but I hope you understand when I tell you that this will give me ...
1. Time to sleep.
2. Time to work.
3. Time to leave the house.
4. Time to be with a woman who wants me (unlikely).
5. Time to count the money I don't have.
6. Time to improve my slam bidding.
7. Time to drink the cokes I have won over the years.

Lol, Roland !
1. Time to sleep.
Sleep in the little death !
2. Time to work.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
3. Time to leave the house.
4. Time to be with a woman who wants me (unlikely).
Try to find one to put in your house to solve points 3 and 4
5. Time to count the money I don't have.
So it takes no time
6. Time to improve my slam bidding.
I'm sure you are already pretty good !
7. Time to drink the cokes I have won over the years.
You won so many that you'll never have the time to drink all of them !
Keep up the good work !

The more vugraphs you organize the more
walk-the-dog contracts you will come across.

Oh, that's a bad news for me, because I bought a lot of future contracts
at tha LIFFE in London, based on amount of cokes you will win or loose
during the next European Championships. I hope these new-style-coke-options
will make me rich... so don't give up Roland!!! ;-)
