Hello everyone:

What is the greatest enemy of bbo?
Not language issue for sure,I think it is just time difference.
Everyday all of us play at bbo, even you might own many friends,in most of the time periods, you might be difficult to find three other players at you table, not to mention the high quality team match. If you really open table and play with your a friend with decent skill,in most of the time periods, you might be difficult to find two decent stable opponents who are likely to run around.
I know many of people feel the same way with me.Who don't want to have happy experience in bbo?
Don't think that all of BBFers are decent players,BBFers should have the more decent skill value as a particular group than others at bbo in fact. How to find a good player in a timely and effective manner? No doubt, this should be a key link of friendly exchanges between countries.
For me,I hope we need more understanding and communication,at the same time I need to learn more from everyone. This is my basic attitude.
If only there is a BBF Community !This is a limited public club, only open to full members of BBF with 50 threads at least.(a great pity that the usernames of many BBFers are not same with bbo .)
But I'm equally baffled. After all, It's a matter of demand.
Any ideas about it?

Best Wishes

Lycier

I don't think this is so complicated. What I do, and I think other BBFers are doing the same, is mark posters as friends on BBO. Then just say Hi, call them for a game, kib, etc.

It's easy to see if anyone's online and set up a team match or get together to play at a table.

BBF uses the same usernames as BBO. But people can create multiple accounts, and use different ones on BBO and BBF if they want.

Not that actually,I remembered I had tried several times in the past, but unfortunately I found it is almost unlikely, for example, too many BBFers might have posted over several thousands, but their bbo username's logintimes may be only from dozens to hundreds, far more less than their threads.

Well, out of curiosity I went online and checked how many BBFers are online just now - assuming this is a time where you'd be normally online (it's 3AM in Central Europe, 2AM in UK so you won't see a lot of the European gang usually).

Notice that I didn't mark all BBFers, just some that are active and I like (apologies if there are others, I don't stalk everyone and there must be tons who are not marked because I forgot LOL)

You are admin and Yellows,of course,as to you,it is a easy thing, only for you,not for everyone.BBO would better do a survey if possible. The subject of the investigation is What do you need at bbo?
I have to say this is a difficult thing, in other word, obviously this is a long-lived issue of BBO,also is a certain reason for people to lose intrest on the bridge.Even everyone is no reply, that doesn't mean they don't need,I know their demands.Just saying.

Why do you think this is a yellow thing? The tools I used exist on BBO and anyone can use them. Do you like someone on BBF? Go on BBO, look for the username and mark him/her as a friend. Any BBOer can do this, they don't need magic powers. I've marked people I like by hand, not with some special tools.

Hoping you speak friendly.

Not everyone has the same username on BBF as on BBO. Those who have posted on BBF for a very long time were allowed to keep their forum names when the rule came in that it has to be the same id on both. So e.g. my BBO login is not the same as my BBF id.

...and even when you connect the two (I am Finch on BBO), I am an example of someone with thousands of posts on BBF and relatively few logins on BBO. This isn't because I use a different name, it's because I rarely play on BBO. I don't see why this is unlikely.... the same is true of a number of frequent BBF posters.

Right, there are several prolific posters who rarely play on BBO or use a different username on BBO. Putting them in a restricted club on BBO will not make them play more I suppose.
