MP, best hand South

I don't care what the 4H means
I don't care how good a bid it is with the cards held.
Sitting West I have just one choice.
(clue: it ain't pass)
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

Probably a case where 4S promised 20+ total points. Besides, sometimes even having a stronger and longer suit isn't enough to bid it at a lower level! OK, maybe several updates back, but it is my funniest bug here. Link to hand

Currently 4 claims it has 16+TP and strong rebiddable.

Although it allows to be 15+TP here to do so. Or otherwise if Q becomes A or KJ.

It will be addressed for review.

I think the definition of 4 spades is fine. What's wrong with GIB is I think it only counts shortness and doesn't appropriately evaluate long suits of 6+ cds. The 9 cd suit ought to make up for the 8 total points. The point counting routine needs to be tweaked, not just this auction.

Some 16 TP hands have the potential to take just 2 or 3 tricks opposite a misfitting Yarborough with unfriendly breaks. This West has 8 playing tricks and virtually no prospect if taking fewer no matter what the 3 opponents at the table throw at him. It is this differential between hand types that GIB seems to ignore.

As it is well known to all that the hand shape is more important than PT,what you said according to PT to decide how to bid next is not stand feet.
