Is it possible to create a team match with my own .lin file? I didn't see any option for it on the creating menu on the widows client, perhaps it is available on the web version

It is very tricky using the windows client, but possible if you have a collaborator as one of the other players. You need to create the team match and ask one player not to accept for, say, 30 seconds. In this time you need to find the team match in the list of pending matches, open it and there is an option to upload hands. Do this quickly before your final player accepts the match.

It is a lot easier with the web client, as you can import the lin file (Hands and results menu) into a folder and then select this folder for the hands when you create the match.

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades

Yes. Very easy to do with the web client. I do this to start several matches with identical boards. (But you need permission to do his if you want to start the matches simultaneously)
