3H was a help suit game try. Your leads are 2/4 and you play standard count and attitute (hi-lo=even/enc).

T1: 2-3-A-4
T2: 8-8-7-Q
T3: A-3-2-4
T4: T-2-4-Q

Your lead.

It looks like declarer is 6331, based on the play and on partner's heart signal. If declarer were 6421, he'd probably just cash SA, cross to the DK, and then make a decision in trumps instead of exposing himself to a heart ruff when spades are 2-2.

So if declarer is AKJxxx JT? A?? x, partner having the CK and DQ, it feels like the only beat is to get him to misguess trumps, but I don't what to return to get that to happen.

I was messing around with the thought of winning HA at T4 and giving declarer a ruff sluff, but that ship has already sailed and it would require declarer to have JT9 of hearts.

We don't need to get greedy and hope for partner to have the diamond Ace. Not only is it highly improbable that West would make a game try lacking that card, but also we have them beat anyway, and beating them an extra trick is nice but not worth risking a make.

If partner lacks the diamond Ace, then he holds the Q but that is irrelevant.

We want to give declarer a guess in spades, and he can't/won't go wrong if we switch to diamonds. He will assume it is a stiff and thus hook in spades.

My line is to simply cash the heart A and exit a heart, establishing the long card for the diamond pitch and hope that he plays me for 2=3=2=6.

Declarer is likely to hold only 5 because, with 6, he might be wary of tackling hearts so early. QA and another works when declarer is 5512 or 5431. If in fact he is 6331, he may remember the auction, note that you've already turned up with ten points and play partner for Q.
If you fancy the brilliancy prize, you could win A(!?) rather than Q. Then exit with your . Now declarer might go up K as a safety play, with
A K J x x J T 9 A Q x x x

Is the 10 a viable option? (just being cheeky)

I'd prefer to have ducked the first heart, hoping to look like I want to win the second round cash the third and deliver an uppercut to partners 10x or Qx. Maybe declarer cashes K before repeating the heart hook.

Full hand below:

South at the table switched to a diamond, and that made things fairly easy having removed my guess there. The only legitimate way to beat it from here is to cash the ace of hearts and give partner a ruff. Those ducking the heart or winning it with the ace would find yourselves with no recourse.
