you need to lead a spade at t1 or 2 which has the effect of shortening dummy before partner's club stop can be forced out, resulting in -1 or playing 3 rounds of diamonds when they prove to be 7222 with kx in dummy is also enough i think. so what were all the a of d leaders planning to do later?

Really? Declarer wins K at trick two and plays a heart up. North wins and plays another diamond. Declarer ruffs in hand, pulls trump, and sets up clubs.
I admit it seems quite natural to ruff the third diamond in dummy.

South uppercuts with 7.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

When opponents bid a thin game like this one, one of them is usually short in diamonds.

I would lead a spade, but certainly would never bid like that. Slow in, slower out! Wtf!?!
