It seems to me that 3♥ should show 5, not 5-, hearts. (I presume this could affect North's simulations for his final bid.)

"5-" is GIB's way of saying "5 or fewer". My point is that rebidding hearts should show fully 5 hearts, not maybe 5 hearts.
