Responder's hand is a very obvious game bid. He has a full ten points with only a jack wasted in diamonds.
Opener's hand is close I think, between game try and blasting. Game try is reasonable though.

Responder should always bid game opposite diamond shortness with those working values. While I see a lot of people blasting with opener's hand, I don't mind a short suit game try, as long as partner knows what to do opposite a short suit game try. Here, obviously, he did not.

This is a joke, right?
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

The joke is that the responses weren't unanimous.

Responder's sign off escapes me. What was he thinking if any ?
If thats a teamgame or imps, i would blast the game with opener's hand without giving too much info and road map. Having not done so, why would i bid game now and accept my own invitation ?

It does say in the OP that the raises are 10-15. Which seems bizarre as I would GF on most 12's with a fit, but if thats the agreement responded looks min to me. OTOH, opposite a 10-15 with opener I cannot imagine not wanting to be in game.
Admittedly 10-15 is not what I would usually call a constructive raise.....

I think opener should blast. Responder should just admit that he forgot their system.

I will continue with the piling on. Responder's hand is the prototypical acceptance of a short suit game try - virtually all of his values are outside of partner's short suit. If someone were giving a class on short suit game tries this would be the acceptance hand.
The preceding paragraph is based on the assumption that the short suit game try is showing diamond shortness. I just find the auction hard to believe if that is true.
[Edited after clarification of the values shown by the single raise.]

10-15 and 5 hearts refers to the 1H opening. Our constructive raise starts at 8 or 9.
