No alerts were made on the bidding, and no questions asked. West led ♥8, East playing the King. Wich resulted on 13 tricks for declarer.
East summoned director and claimed that partner would never lead a heart had she know that north had shortness there.
Director asked south why didn't alert 4♥ and south explains that they have agreed on splinters showing opening values, but no agreements for passed hand splinters were made. He also explains that his lenght in hearts had played a major role interpreting partner's 4♥ bid, more than their agreements. No convention card is shown.
North says that if he wasn't a passed hand he wouldn't bid 4♥ afraid of missunderstanding, but as a passed hand it made no sense for 4♥ to be natural so partner would deduce it.
When director asks west what would she lead had 4♥ been alerted, She hesitates and says perhaps a diamond or a club.
