If the problem is that this would be kickback, I don't see that as a problem. Kickback works wonders, also.
If I had to pick between 3 and 6, I'd blast 6.

If you've agreed otherwise inside your partnership, then fine. But that's the exception, not the rule.
3♣ is nonforcing, so obviously it's wrong also. Then again, maybe North was praying they could even make 3♣ since they've obviously seen partner's laughable judgment re: opening bids before.

3♦ as FG and when south bid 3Nt u take it away bidding 4♣. That way u should be able to find u 6♣.
