This has been an extremely exiting event, three hours ago there were still at least two other serious contenders for the title!

Congrats to Harald and his team!

Big Congratulations! It certainly was a very exciting 2 weeks...and definitely was a good distraction while studying for exams! Was rooting for Norway and Netherlands and glad to see one of them came out victorious :P And the vugraphs were awesome as! Love the way how there were lots of choices.

Well done Norge.

Yeah, well done to Norway.

The Germans muffed it at the last hurdle - much to the relief of the Italian fans

I found myself watching vugraph and refusing to play during those hours for the past 2 weeks.

Edit: P.S. I selected Norway in the poll sometime ago. Good to see my prediction was right!

Congratulations indeed, I guess the BB win wasn't a fluke after all :P

Well done Norway, and congrats Harald!

Also glad that Netherlands just made it to the BB. They didn't play very well from what I saw but my impression is that Sjoert and Bas really deserved it.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Thank you all!

This has been two wonderful weeks, I can tell you. After a somewhat rusty start the first couple of days, our team played very well for the rest of the champioship. Surely we had a few not so good performances, but all in all our players did very well.

Molberg-Aa was consistently good at the qualifying stage, but dropped maybe a little in the final round.

Helgemo-Lund had a sound game, except for 2 or 3 matches.

Brogeland-Lindqvist struggled a little from the start, but from the 3rd day at the qualifying stage they performed strongly, and were outstanding throughout the final round - a fantastic performance!

At the end of the qualifier, the NPC and I was pretty confident that our team had it in them to win. Even a disappointing Friday (round 14-16) didn't hurt the team spirit at all. When play started Saturday morning, our players were more than ready to fight for the victory.

A very satisfied squad (no Brogeland, he's underway to Biarritz) received a warm welcom at Oslo airport this afternoon by our secretary general, vice president, family, friends and supporters.
Kind regards,
Harald

That's it! I'm changing my name back to Riksfjord.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
