Scoring: IMP

S       W     N         E
1*   3    X&       P
4     P      4NT%   P
6NT    All pass

* - 16+ unbal or 18+ bal
& - 5+ takeout
% 1430 KC in diamonds

Should 6NT there show all 5 kc, is there a better bid to show that? Should North know to go to 7 NT?

as far as I know, you show 5 KCs the same way as you show 2: With 5 Heart and 5 Spade. In both cases you can reach the superior contract of 6 Diamonds.
True, you may make 7 NT if you can find the queen of Diamonds, but I would prefer to be in 6 Diamond which always make after a normal club lead and often after any other lead.
Kind Regards

I thought you should not ask for key cards if you dont have any ?
I am assuming 4NT is asking for diamonds as a suit

5 and 5 show 2 or 5 keycards without and with the trump queen respectively.

Indeed. In principle, you shouldn't. But in some cases it does happen and, as other mentioned, the book bid is 5/ showing 2.. OR 5 keys :)

I'm not a fan of these methods. IME, 3 level negative doubles after a strong club should be GF. Opener's 4 implies they aren't.

Furthermore, is 3 really NF? If it is, I think 4 is possible with this hand type too.

What's wrong with an initial 3?

As for keycard asking without a keycard, I don't see why not. Whether it's a good idea with this hand is a different issue.
