I was looking into help pages because I wanted to have some info about how voice chat is working. I cannot find anything about that.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I found 2 pages not working properly - perhaps under construction:

See this link...

Voice chat settings...

That was for old version, not clear if new functionality will be added in next one. I doubt it... Voice chat I think refers to your computer reading what others type to you.. not you speaking and that going to others... of course, speach regonition software on your computer might type the messages for you should you have that capability

Amny online games require some kind of voice channel. Many first person shooters and massively multiplayer games require very close coordination in real time. Furthermore, folks are so busy twithcing their fingers over the keyboard trying to kill the dragon that a voice channel is the only real option.

In find it interesting to note that virtually none of these games integrates their own Voice-over-IP systems. Instead, players who want these functions download third party apps like "Ventrillo" or "Teamspeak".

Both of these applications have free clients, however, they (typically) require licensing fees if you want to run you're own server.

Hmm, can't help butting in--If there's some advanced voice/sound capability in the future, I think its only useful if you have a cool, sexyyyy voice.

Like the paladins and most elves or whatever voices in games.

This is what I was looking for - how to use, how to take advantage of?
