it's hard to give kaep so much credit when 5 out of 7 MIN d-liners graded negative per pff on run d and hyde was a total beast. kaep was perfectly adequate and they executed the game plan well

Well I'm not saying Kaepernick is elite just yet. But it is true that he's doing a better job of going through his progressions rather than just tucking and running at the first sign of trouble, stepping up in the pocket while staying in a passing stance. And he's learned a changeup to go with his fastball. Whether he can keep that up when he faces the Rams, I don't claim to know. Just saying there are signs of improvement.

LOL Andy Reid. I love it when stupidity gets punished.

(Edit to clarify: not saying they should kneel down. I think they should huck it way downfield towards the sidelines. But a running play is the worst option.)

Also, funny how Nantz & Simms were saying at the beginning of the game, "it's not Manning's offense anymore, they're doing the Kubiak offense now." How long did that last, half a quarter?
