Ah right, that explains it. I thought it was a bug that I could play it again, but this time in declarer-only format.

Diana,

There was one board in the current set where play begins at trick 2. If possible, I would suggest that the play begin at trick 1 instead.
i.e. maybe start where South has to follow to the trick but South's choice does not affect the real problem.

When I played this board, I almost didn't realise that trick 1 was already done and that I was about to play to trick 2.

Thanks for the tip!
Perhaps we are heading towards a variant of reverse upside down Bridge where you have to play the hand backwards 13-1 then figure out the bidding!

That would be "an aid" to our understanding of the game Posted Image.

Yes, the played trick is not obvious enough.

Last week I had a board where two or three tricks were played, and realized there is no way for the declarer to see what passed :)

You are right, got to improve the way partly played boards are shown.

I was going to mention that one - I had to figure out how to get back to my hand at one point. I guessed wrong. Perhaps knowing what the first trick was would have helped.

But I don't want to rain on your parade! Figure something out, you will.

By the way, since my little private experiment accidentally turned into a BBO forums game, this week's hands are all from recent BBO Forum posts. Have fun finding them :)

Special thanks to lamford, he provided most of the hands.

This week's tourney had some boards automatically passed out (not intentional).

Fixed and re-posted the tourney. I also trimmed the list of players, because allowing 8K+ turned out to be too confusing. Many of the players had no idea what they were playing and that this is an experimental game.

If you happened to play and follow this game and you are not able to see it anymore pls message me online and i'll be happy to add you back.

Players who guess this week's theme win a free Guinness. Cheers!

I was in the process of installing new operating system and thought My mouse was messed up.
looked up and was at the next hand looked and thought I would never pass that hand...so figured
you were up to something.

Another great game - are we moving in the direction of hands where it is impossible for Declarer to take any tricks at all?

Spooky.
What are the odds of 5 players getting exactly the same percentage on each of 8 boards?

It's probably significantly higher in "Just Declare" format. Some hands practically play themselves.

I wish they would play themselves a bit better!
